Bill Edmondson Memorial Scholarship

The Lawrence County Farm Bureau established this scholarship in 2009 as a tribute to Bill Edmondson. He was a 1956 graduate of Walnut Ridge High School. Following high school, he served four years in the United States Air Force. He attended Arkansas State University and in later years Williams Baptist College. Bill was agency manager for Farm Bureau Insurance in Lawrence County for 38 years and enjoyed cattle farming as his hobby. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Walnut Ridge and the Masonic Lodge.
