Dr. B.C. McGough Dean's Scholarship

Dr. B. C. McGough was the first dean of the College of Business, which was housed at that time in historic Wilson Hall. He knew the importance of scholarship assistance to upper-level students who have proven their ability and potential but need financial assistance to finish a bachelor’s degree.
In 2010, Dr. McGough was added to the Wall of Honor plaque which recognizes Arkansas State’s first 100 distinguished faculty and hangs outside Centennial Hall. According to the A-State records, he was Professor of Business from 1965 to 1987. Dr. McGough was a beloved administrator because of his ability to connect with business students by drawing on his own experiences and giving the guidance and inspiration students needed to attain success as graduates with a degree in business.
