George and Sara Roberson Endowed Scholarship

The George and Sara Roberson Scholarship has been established to help ASMSA graduates, who are among the best and brightest in the state, to thrive and achieve at A-State. Dr. Roberson graduated from A-State and went on to the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, graduating first in his medical school class. He always attributed his excellent education at Arkansas State to his success. He served on the Arkansas State University’s Chancellor’s Cabinet and Mrs. Roberson continues to fulfill her husband’s interest in Arkansas State by also serving on the cabinet along with Dr. Roberson’s son Scott Roberson who is an A-State graduate. Another of Dr. Roberson’s sons, Matt Roberson, also graduated from Arkansas State. Today, a third generation, Drew Roberson, Dr. Roberson’s grandson, is an A-State student and maintains an active leadership role on campus. Mrs. Roberson resides in Hot Springs.
