Perry G Stevens Public Service Scholarship

In celebration of his 70th birthday, the Perry G Stevens Public Service Scholarship was established by his children to honor an exemplary public service career that has inspired other to follow in his path. Mr. Stevens was born and raised at Calico Rock, Arkansas and graduated from Arkansas State University in 1953. After an outstanding 30 year career in the military, he retired with the rank of Colonel in 1983. Until his retirement in 1997 to Calico Rock, he held key positions as an insurance executive. Mr. Stevens died in December of 2007.
