Ray Hall Sr. and Kathleen Hall Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established in memory of Dr. Hall at the time of his death in 1997. Dr. Hall made numerous contributions on all levels to the field of education including laying the foundation for vocational schools in the state of Arkansas. He began service in 1951 at what was then Arkansas State College and assisted in the establishment of the nursing school at ASU. Upon his retirement from ASU he served as director of Foundation and Development at St. Bernard’s. His widow, Kathleen Hall, died in April 2008 at which time the family changed the name of the endowment to honor her memory also.
