W.V. Vete Armstrong Memorial Scholarship

W.V. Vete Armstrong was a 1939 graduate of Arkansas State College who served as St. Francis County School supervisor from 1933 until his retirement in 1972. He was a life member of the Arkansas Education Association and a member of the National Education Association. His family established the scholarship after his death in 1984 in loving memory of Mr. Armstrong, and in recognition of his lifelong interest in Arkansas State University and his desire to help his fellow man.
