Steward Family Scholarship

Mr. and Mrs. Steward established this scholarship to assist students majoring in Music Arts in honor of their late son, Jeffrey Steward. Jeffrey was a Vocal Performance Major at Arkansas State until his passing in 2019, at the age of 22. The Steward family has a passion for the Arts and wanted to assist students who share their same passions. This scholarship is to be awarded to students who are working to obtain a degree in String Music, Music Composition or Vocal Music Education. The selection will be based on auditions, which are held in the spring on Music Department scholarship days and chosen by a member of the string faculty and one other music faculty selected by the string faculty.
