Mary Rogers Brown Scholarship
Mary Rogers Brown was a 1915 graduate of what was then Arkansas A&M College, now known as Arkansas State University, and taught home economics from 1917 to 1920. She returned to Arkansas State in 1936 as head of the home economics department and dean of women. She remained on the faculty until her retirement in 1965. After her death on Dec. 25, 1981, an endowed scholarship fund was established in her memory by Roger and Bonnie Brown, with contributions from other family members and friends.
