W.J. Beard Memorial Music Scholarship

W.J. Beard was a Paragould business leader who in 1903 started Beard’s Temple of Music, which was in business for more than 50 years. This scholarship was the result of a gift by W.J. Beard’s son, the late Jay P. Beard, who was the founder of Northeast Arkansas radio station KBTM, to honor the memory of his father.
