Arbyrd HS Class of 1948 Scholarship

During their 40-year class reunion in 1988, members of the Arbyrd High School class of 1948 began discussing a means of preserving their class identity while demonstrating strong support for present and future generations of students of Southland High School. The committee, which was headed by William R. Wright, class scholarship committee chairman, began raising funds for the scholarship. Within a year, they were able to raise enough funds to endow a scholarship.
Preference will be given to applicants who have shown good citizenship, moral character, leadership potential and a willingness to earn college tuition.
