Lee R. Krigbaum Non-Traditional Students Scholarship
Mr. Krigbaum was the child of a rural Arkansas farm family and he served in the Navy during WWII. Once out of the Navy, he was able to attend college thanks to the GI bill. Mr. Krigbaum was an alumnus of the 1949 class of what was known then as Arkansas State College. The scholarship was established by Lauren, daughter of Mr. Lee Krigbaum. She states "ASU has always been a part of my life. When it came time to choose a university after high school, A-State was it for me; I wanted to following in my father’s footsteps. Luckily I was able to obtain scholarship funds for most of my tuition and I had supportive parents to make up the difference. Now it’s my turn to help someone else.
