This scholarship was established in 1997 by the faculty of International Programs in honor of Dr. Afak Haydar, retired faculty member, and in memory of Dr. Mossie Richmond, faculty member and one-time interim president of A-State. Both men worked jointly in establishing the International Program on the A-State campus.
